Last 60 days of use year

Am I correct in understanding that you can get reservations only at DVC resorts in the last 60 days of your use year, and that your chances of success will be low since this is in the "breakage" period and Disney will be renting the space out to cash paying customers?

You may reserve at other resorts for the last 60 days of your use year- but there is a rule which prohibits making that reservation during the last 60 days- as DVC must be able to use those same points for a cash ressie at a DVC resort before they expire.
