Last 2 weeks of August?

we are thinking about going the 20-29th of August and wondering what the crowds will be like. Anyone have experience with this time frame?

Great, great, great time to visit! Crowds have greatly diminished, weekdays are almost slow.

great time but usually super hot and Haunt Mansion goes down for its make over. Fantasmic only on the weekends

Double check the timing.... will it be Labor Day weekend? If so, then you'll have the half marathon runner crowds.

I love that time, we've been three times during the last two weeks of August (4 times if you count our honeymoon back in '99!) and have really enjoyed it. I'm tentatively planning for August 2016, although if our exchange rate stays as terrible as it is now, that might not happen...but a girl can dream, right?

And since the 60th ends right around that time, it could be busier than usual at that time.

Fantasmic! closes for an extended period of time beginning January 10, 2016. Along with several other attractions, as Disney makes way for Star Wars

I am not worried about the heat as much. We are here right now and the first few days it was 100+ and has been really hot everyday. So I think we will be OK. We usually go to WDW in July so are pretty used to the heat.
