2011 Vegas Trip Report​

I decided to do a little trip report for my Las Vegas Trip. Hopefully it's okay here. lol. If you have any questions, please either comment here or message me!

My trip was from September 20th to the 27th. I went with my parents who were already out there since they left on the 13th of September.

My flight was from Newark to Houston, then from Houston to Vegas via Southwest. My flight left at 9:30am, so my grandma's tenant drove me to the airport at 6:30am.

This is a model of the Atlantis they had at the Houston Airport near my gate. When i got off the plane I got a subway sandwich because I was sick of the junk food they offered on the plane. An hour later I was on another plane headed to vegas. You would think the flight was only 2 hours since Houston is closer to Vegas... But it was another 3 hour flight. Oy!

This is the view of the Vegas trip from the plane. (if you are wondering I have a Nikon s6000 i bought last November.)

My parents, picked me up from the airport and our first stop was the Disney Warehouse. . At the Disney Warehouse I got a Stitch Figurine. I love stitch. Anyway, after that we went to our hotel : The Suncoast. where we had a great view of a golf course and the city.

I unfortunately don't have pictures of the slots in McCaran. Going to Vegas, my parents were picking me and I didn't want to keep them waiting and then the way back after the trip i was more fascinated with taking my meds. lol.

MY First full day in Vegas​

September 21st was my first full day in Vegas. We woke up in our hotel - The Suncoast, had breakfast in the hotel's buffet. After the buffet, I went to play electronic roulette and ended up winning my money back I lost the previous night and then some. After that, we set out for Downtown Vegas. Here are a few more pictures of the hotel I took.

My parents rented a car (as always) and we drove to Downtown Vegas to check out the newly renovated Plaza.

I thought I got more inside photos of the plaza but only got one of a bird statue which I thought was pretty.

Prior to going to the Plaza my mom and I stopped at Subway for a small sandwich to cover up my stomach pain from my medication.

Afterwards, my dad had done the Vegas Zip line they had. It's $15.00 to go once in the day $20 (at night) and $50.00 all day pass. Then we just walked and I took pictures of things:

After Downtown Vegas, We went to the New York New York Hotel where we went to the arcade. Back in college (2007-2009) I went to the arcade for a get away from campus. Anyway, this day we won 2136 tickets which we redeemed for a New York light up sign.

After that, we went to a friend's house for margarita's and pizza.
