Say you had the choice of Las Vegas or WDW - which would you choose? Now, keep in mind, you've NEVER been to Las Vegas, but you've been to WDW many times.

It may be your only trip for a few YEARS. Which do you do?

If your are taking children of any age, do not go to Vegas! It is an adult playground.

Having said that, my wife and I adore Vegas and we are not even gamblers (at least not alot  ) Lots of fun just exploring the hotels. It is truely the city that never sleeps.

No kids!!!!!! I should have mentioned that in the OP.;)

In that situation I would go to Vegas just to see and experience something different.

I have been to DW many, many times and never got the chance to go to Vegas. But in May this year I had a chance to go (without kid) and I am so glad I went. It was so much fun to see and experience Vegas!

Vegas. Even if you don't gamble, the shows alone are to die for. 3 Cirque du Soleil shows.... heaven!

Been both places many times. I vote for WDW without
pause. Vegas seems cheap in comparison. My favorite
places in Vegas are Liberace's museum and the Ethel M
candy factory. WDW is full of my favorite places!

Hey, see the Scinta's at the Rio..AWESOME show!

I would pick Vegas too, if you don't have kids with you and you have never been. It is place like no other. So much to do and see. You can have one heck of a time just people watching! Just wait till you see it, you will know just what I mean!

Have a great trip either way you choose!

Hey, do Vegas. But plan a couple of days to hop across the Calif. border to Anaheim and see DisneyLand. It is the best of both worlds. (This time last year--that's what I was doing!)

Viva Las Vegas!

You can even do a motorcoach trip to DL if you don't want to drive/fly there

Based on your criteria, gg, as much as I can't stand the place (having been there 4 times), I would say Vegas also. (Did I just say that?? ). I have always said here that it is worth it, if only to see the spectacle of the place, the hotels, the gaudiness, the shows (there are some god ones there), the people watching. There are two great Cirque shows, -O- and Mystere, Celine Dion, the Bellagio Fountains, and others. Good eating too. It certainly is not a place for kids and if smoke bothers you (it does me), I guess just move through the hotels quickly, LOL (the newer ones are not as bad). It is a place everybody, adult, should see, at least once. Enjoy.

I think everyone should exp Vegas at least once, so that's my vote =)

As much as I love WDW, I think it's important to take in other travel destinations as well... =)

ENJOY!

Dan, Cirque's got a third show now in Vegas - Zoomanity. It's more adult oriented than O and Mystere but excellent as well.

GG - Go to Vegas. You can ride the monorail. (then, you'll feel like you're at Disney:teeth: )

I've never been so i vote for Vegas. I want to go there and DH doesn't...one of these days I'll do a girls only trip there.

I have to agree with everyone else. If you aren't bringing children and you haven't been there before, Vegas is the place to go. DW and I went to a convention there five years ago without the kids and we had a great time. The hotels, the Strip, Fulton Street are great. The rides at the top of the Statosphere are wild. Imagine being 1000 feet up on top of a building riding a roller coaster hanging off the side. Or being shot up 400 feet in the air (again on top of a building) and then dropped. I couldn't believe I did it, but I did and it was wild. Oh well, defintely try Vegas, at least once.

I vote for Vegas too. I've never been and I've been itching to see it just once. However, DH is a gambler and I'm not so I'd like to take DS since he wants to see the casinos too. I'm waiting right now for DS to be older but I might change my mind and go without him someday!
