Las Vegas/Grand Canyon Helicopter tours

Can anyone reccommend a company that does the helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas?

DH and I are going to Vegas in August for a wedding. It's the week after his birthday and for his present I'm planning on doing one of these tours. Anyone done one, and would you recommend the company?

there are a couple of good ones.. my husband and i just came back from las vegas but we drove to hover dam and the grand canyon so we can go at our own pace.. but it was a 8 hour drive there and back. just check this link out if you have not already http://shop.vegas.com/tours/

I don't know if I'd do that in August or not. It is very hot in the desert in August. I don't know about the helicopter, but the air plane ride I took over the Grand Canyon was not air conditioned. I did it in July and it was really hot.
WARNING: when the ad says "climate controlled" it means just that - the temperature in the plane is controlled by the climate. I think it is false advertising, but evidently they get by with it.

We used pappillon (sp?) and enjoyed it very much. They landed in the canyon for lunch and showed some other sites from the air. They have a website with more info and rates.

Look to spend abut $450 per person to go to the GC for LV.

The night tour is great as well. ABout $80 per person

Just got back from Vegas. Used Papillon for Grand Canyon flight, it was Awesome! We just did the tour from Grand Canyon, because we had a car, and stayed overnight in the park.

Also did the neon night tour, it was nice, BUT VERY fast, and my DH hardly saw anything because of the side he was on.

They weigh everyone, and assign seating, so there is not a choice where one may sit.
