Larry and Robin Wilmot's Epic Odessey. Texas to WDW - Live.

Wow, we're making the drive from Amarillo in just 17 days, but we're not as brave as you guys. We're splitting it up over a couple of days. How were the gas prices as you headed East? Oh, and tell your nephew Michael, I said, "Guns Up" from a 2nd generation Texas Tech grad!

Have a great trip . Petrol is about $3.45 most of the way down. Avoid a fill up in Abilene, it's crazy there

Joining in for your TR. We make the drive from near Hattiesburg, MS to WDW so I feel your "Iron Butt Club" pain! Our most recent trip was in May this year (TR link below). I'm looking forward to your TR and see if you noticed the various roadside billboard advertisements once you turned off I-10 and headed south to Orlando! Those that fly don't get this added "entertainment". :lmao:

And yes, you did just fine spelling my home State of Mississippi (checked twice to make sure I didn't make a fool of myself and misspell it!). Next time, don't go so fast through our State and stop in and say hi y'all!! :thumbsup2

Exciting first day! Ready to hear how Day 2 went. Glad you guys are having a good time. Bummer about Fantasmic though.

Thanks for the great report. I really enjoyed reading about your trip. Do you have any more planned for the future? Maybe that one to Paris with your nephew?:thumbsup2
