Larger Picture Pkgs

Have any recent cruisers noticed if DCL is offering the 30 or 35 picture packages. We were told in Nov. that they were going to be offering this soon and we were wondering if it has started yet and exactly how much it is running.

We're trying to start our budget for our Dec 05' cruise. Next year we are going to have 2 extra children with us and it's going to be fun managing the budget.

Bumping it again, but want to add another question, is it possible to order 16x20 size poster picture with some type of Disney Cruise thing from the photo place? I am a fanatic of having a family pic framed on my wall of exciting vacation (I am running out of wall space!) And does anyone know how much?

I was on the 12/19/04 wonder and they had a 30 picture package. I forget what I paid, but I started with the 20 pictures, then upgraded to the 30, then before I left I down graded to the 20 and paid for the 5 extra pictures. I received $20 back for the difference between the 20 package plus 5 pictures. the 30 package was about $70 more than the 20 picture package. The cost for the single pictures 6X8 were about $10 each. The 8X10 were $20 each. I think before I was done I spent over $300 on pictures and cards.

The best they offer in this situation is buy 4 and get a free DCL "frame" that holds 1 of the 8 x 10's and 1 of there stock pictures. We did this several times. I just couldn't say no to our pictures. They all turned out so well. The only ones I didn't buy were the ones that someone had closed their eyes or screwed it up some other way. I don't even want to discuss how much we actually spent at Shutters, but let's just say we totally blew the "picture budget". We did splurge on buying the large 3D crystal instead of the medium sized one, but it turned out beautiful and was worth every extra penny.

I was wondering about the 3D crystal you mentioned. I thought there was just one size that they offered on the ship that fit two portraits. I have three daughters, does the large hold three portraits? Please say yes If so, do you remember the cost? I seen these at Epcot but was one daughter shy so I couldn't get one with just the two of them.

The large crystal is $119.99 but they only allow 2 people in the picture. It comes in 3 different sizes. The large crystal comes with a lighted base to put it on that changes colors as it turns. The medium crystal was $99 with the base. I don't remember how much the small one cost.
