you won't have any problem & this is from personal experience.
the site, that put my mind at rest, was allears.it has a wdw at large section.it has other peoples experiences,on it & also pictures of the ride seats.
i do not know, how to post links, but i know someone will post it for you.
please do not worry & have a great trip

Try this site its very informative http://allears.net/tp/ridsiz.htm should hopefully help you find out what you need to know. DH is on the larger side and can fit into most of the rides at Disney, so no need to worry to much:goodvibes Just have a great holiday:thumbsup2

Most rides have rows with seats for larger dimensions which are fine for me. Only ride I have a problem with is Kumba at Busch gardens. Did it one day no problem, went back 2 days later couldn't fit:confused3 must have eaten too much in the buffets.:goodvibes

Hubby and I are pooh shaped and we have no problems at Disney. The only rides i have heard of that might be a little tricky but we haven't ridden are Dumbo and The Orbiter thing, apparently they are a little snug.

Universal and Busch are a different matter, i found that most of the big roller coaster, like Hulk, Dwelling Dragons i couldn't get on because the seats went up at the sides and i just couldn't get my damn hips in, was very disappointed as i love coasters. On the plus side the majority of rides at Universal have seats you can try before you get to the queue to save any embarrassment at the front of the lines.

Seaworld is ok, the only one I cant ride is Kraken again because of the seat format.

Hope that has helped a little.

i was a size 18 when we went in 06 and have gained 2 1/2 stone  so i think i might be a 20/22 if i cant shift the weight before we go in july

do you think i would ok on most of the rides?

thanks for everyones help

Im pooh sized (22ish) and I have never had a problem on any rides at WDW, Ive heard about people having problems at Universal but I dont like coasters so its not a problem for me. Dont worry you will be fine :goodvibes

Everest was an unexpected problem for some people we met out there because the overhead thingy would not lock in place. I would guess they were a bit bigger than 22 though.

It shouldn't be a problem.

Most of WDW is designed with the species "Grossus Americanus" in mind.

It is one of the side benefits of visiting Disney that I always feel quite slim whenever I mingle with locals!:)

Kellie, im a size 24 and have no problems what so every at Disney.

I seem to remember Primeval Whirl being a bit tight!

Ahh yes thats one I forgot about, there is a bump in the middle of the seats and I spill over this, it can be uncomfortable, but bearable. Just don't let the CMs squish extra people in with you, hubby and I have a car to the two of us.

Everest doesn't have an overhead bar, its a bar that pulls down on your lap and stops when you are comfortable - Hubby and I are both large and we fit in Everest fine, with room to spare.

Don't worry Kellie you will have a fantastic time!!

Another issue I find is when I have sat next to my DD where we share the lap bar - the bar obviously only comes down to my belly so is quite away from DD.

I seem to remember this used to be a problem on Tower of Terror before they fitted individual lap belts. DD floated out of her seat on the drops LOL

A lot of the rides have special seats for larger people too. I know that Sheikra at Busch does for sure - instead of having one extra seat belt type thing they had two on the seats.

Tim - I experienced the floating seat in Big Thunder Mountain in Jan - I was on as a single rider next to a larger guy and the lap belt hardly came down at all!! :)
