Large Group Advice

Making my first trip with a large group in December. Eleven cousins, mostly adults. Any tips? I got us dinner reservations for Epcot fireworks but I don’t know how else to help plan. One person do all the FP+? Everyone on their own?

Have one person do all the fastpasses, especially if anyone in the group has never made them before. I learned the hard way when a newbie in the group cancelled all my hard-to-get fastpasses (which I couldn't get back).

Also allow times for some group separation. It can be hard to move through the parks in a large group, especially day after day. Doesn't have to be for long, but if some want to shop while some go on rides then there should be flexibility.

Don't plan on every minute together. Have you asked each group what they want to do? Does everybody like thrill rides? If you start to see some disagreement on touring/rides then make a plan for yourself and then invite everyone to join in.

Rope drop vs. sleeping in? I doubt everyone will agree on everything.

We are also going with a larger group, 10 of us. I made all the dinner reservations and will just let everyone know where and what time. Than everyone can go do their own thing either stay together or go off on your own. Just be at the dinner reservation on time.
When our window opens up for FP we will all discuss what everyone wants and I
will make all of them

I am booking for a group of 16 (in November). Most are newbies, a few aren't.

I'll be doing all the fastpasses when my window opens and, so far, I've been making ADRs (even when groups of us are breaking into smaller groups). The newbies don't quite have the hang of it.

The biggest challenge I had was ensuring that all 16 people had a good profile on MDE and that I was linked to that good profile. That was kind of a nightmare, but Disney IT got me sorted out one day (took about 45 minutes--whew).

I would never try to have a group that large stay together. Too many individual preferences. Like other's said, maybe a meal a day and resort time at night.

One thing that's essential is to make sure everyone knows how to make/modify FP's, and when they can start reserving them. (then remind them before the booking window opens)
