Large Family Making ADR's With FP+

I have a friend who I've been helping w/ her WDW plans. I've made dining reservations myself w/FP+ but not sure about making theirs because at this time they have onsite reservations and have set up MDE. Their brother in law and wife will be booking this week. However, they think their parents are going to go but they are waiting for the military discount to come out which won't happen until after they need to start making ADR's. So, will they be able to make dining reservations for ALL of them and then take off the parents if they end up not going? Should they call to make ADR's so theirs can be added to their MDE plans or isn't that possible if parents don't have MDE acct? I APOLOGIZE because I know this is a confusing post.

You are just talking about dining, correct? FP+ is totally separate from dining.

As for their dining, it can be booked at 180 days for any party. If they have an onsite hotel reservation, if they log into their MDE account (or call and use their reservation number) their dining can be booked at 180 + 10. Anyone can be put on the dining reservation, they don't have to have a confirmed room reservation...the only thing a room reservation gets is the extra 10 days to make the reservation. Aside from that, ANYONE can make an ADR at 180 days.

Yes, definitely make the reservation for ALL who may come. It is much easier to call and MODIFY a reservation than it is to find a larger table late in the game.

The reservation can just be linked to their account (or if they don't use the +10, you wouldn't have to link the ressie at all).
