Thanks for the compliment. I really love the dress also and it happens to be comfy in addition to flattering. I will be sure to include at least one pic of us all dressed up as the rest of our pics will be resort casual.

Holy mcmoly! I haven't been here in forever. This is mostly because I woke up last Friday with a horrible migraine and it has stuck with me. I even had to go to the doctor yesterday to get a shot and it still hasn't left. I'm doing better but it's still not gone.

Since I can't really concentrate on much at the moment, I've been working on laundry and packing. We picked up the last of our Space Bags so we are ready to actually get everything in the suitcases. Right now, it's all folded on a shelf in DH's armoire. I can live with it not being in a suitcase as long as it's all in one place.

I have a lot of updates on my to-do list. Unfortunately, I also have more things to add.

DONE
2) Update confirmed plans in Passporter
3) Finish park touring plans
5) Create packing list
6) Buy Space Bags for packing
4) Pick out pictures and decide on wording for Coral Reef menu. - Sent and confirmed by CR mgr.
15) Get hair and eyebrows done.

IN PROGRESS
1) Find petsitter for cats Have a good prospect lined up. Still need to meet and confirm.
8) Find shirts for Resort photo shoot My shirt is here and the color is PERFECT! DH has one that might work but we are still going to go looking this weekend.
9) Make arrangements to get to/from airport One of our friends might be able to drive us. If not, we priced Super Shuttle. We have a coupon from our Entertainment book so round trip for both of us is $65. I'm leaning towards this option.
10) Get DH fitted for tux for wedding Going this weekend.
11) Remind DH to get haircut Appt. sched. for 11/29
12) Purchase and send wedding gift Decided what we want to order. Just have to do it.
16) Get pedi before trip. Mani/pedi sched. for 11/29.

NEED TO START
7) Find in-room and in-park journals and decorate as necessary - Hope to do this weekend.
13) Choose ornament for Reception tree - Hope to do this weekend.
14) Purchase new camera - Can't decide if we should try to wait for Thanksgiving sale.

Thankfully, DH has started taking a more active role in the planning process. He told me yesterday that it is finally hitting him that we are really going. No, really? Why else have I been working on these plans for almost 8 months? So that I could plan a pretend trip? Geez, MEN!

Just 13 sleeps until we leave and 18 until WDW!!!!​

ETA: I totally forgot to mention that I had my hair done last Saturday and I LOVE it! I can't wait for our pics with the blue shirts and the green and brown of WL. I think they will look SO GOOD! I certainly hope so!

I'm sure people have tons of fun with zero planning because they just don't know what they are missing. If you ask my DH, they probably have MORE fun because they don't feel like they have to fit stuff in. Fortunately, I'm a planner by nature so it would never dawn on me to do a trip to WDW with no info.

I can't believe how soon we will be leaving! We have two more weekends to get everything done and then we'll be gone for 2 weeks. Fortunately, there are only three items left on the shopping list, the packing list is completely up-to-date and we have our to-do list all set for this weekend. We'll be able to get a lot of stuff done tomorrow which will make life much easier for next weekend.

We decided we are going to wait until after the wedding to select a gift for DBIL and his new wife. They registered for a lot of unnecessary stuff that they most likely will never use. We'd rather wait until after the wedding and find out what they still really NEED. The good news is that takes one more thing off my to-do list.

I found out yesterday that I HAVE to work the day after Thanksgiving. It's not a holiday at our company so I had requested it off. It was initially approved by they have since recanted as they are afraid I won't have everything up-to-date before I leave for two weeks. I told them I would have everything ready by Wednesday and if I felt like I was in a good place, I would be taking Friday off anyway. I was pissy that they gave me the day off and then took it back. I hate having to work that day!

We are planning to pack all clothes and the bulk of our toiletries/extras the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have a Girl Scout meeting on Monday, Dec. 1 so there is no time there and we have to drive Gracie down to her breeder Tuesday evening before we head off to the airport. Our flight leaves at 12:25am so we really only have 11 more sleeps before we leave and 16 before we arrive at WDW.

DH and I are both so excited that we can't stand ourselves. The trip is practically the only topic of conversation in our house right now. It's just SO SOON!!!!

First off, I got some resolution on the work thing for this Friday. My boss is the one who didn't want me to take the day off. She, of course, is on vacation all week. I was talking to her boss this morning (used to be mine so we have a good relationship) and mentioned we are close to being ready but just need to do laundry and pack. She asked if I was taking Friday off and I said no and explained about the approved and then rescinded request and how I was all up-to-date on my projects and wasn't sure what I was going to do Friday anyway. She told me to take the day off and not worry about it. She signed another request and is emailing my boss to tell her she TOLD me to take the day off to get ready. SO, I have a four-day weekend which will give me plenty of time to pack!

DH and I got TONS of stuff done this weekend on trip prep. We literally ran errands Friday evening, most of Saturday and part of yesterday. I'm going to NEED a four-day weekend to recuperate!

At this point, everything is done or scheduled except for needing to get DH another hoodie. This will happen tomorrow or Wednesday evening as I REFUSE to go shopping this weekend. I'm going to be completely busy and I don't want to deal with the crowds.

We found a killer deal for our camera at Best Buy. We got the Kodak 8.2 GB, a "Gorilla-pod" style tripod, a camera case and a 2 GB SD card for $149. We had been looking at a Walmart bundle which was roughly the same price for a 10.1 GB with a bunch of unnecessary extras. We would have had to order online so we decided to check out Best Buy before we did it and happened upon this great deal. We were already planning to buy the same kind of tripod and a camera case so the Best Buy deal was much better.

We've been playing with the camera all weekend and we really like it. It has a bit more of a delay than our current Kodak but the pictures are nice and it has image stabilization. Plus, the tripod will be great for fireworks pictures. Best of all, it's even smaller and lighter than our current camera and it's RED! Score!!

I can't believe we leave so soon. Just 8 more sleeps until we leave on vacation and only 13 more 'til we visit Mickey!

That's such a great deal on the camera! BF and I actually went looking on bestbuy.com and walmart.com looking for the same ones you found because we are interested in a new camera. We found the exact one at walmart but not the package with the tripod included on bestbuy. Can't wait to see all the great pics it takes!

We're almost ready to go! Don't feel bad for not packing. It's much easier for me as there are only two of us and we don't have kids (only cats who like to hang out in the suitcases.) You have to do laundry and pack for 5 while dealing with kids. You win on the difficulty scale!

I did the same colors which is yellow cake with white chocolate mousse filling, white icing and a white castle. The lady I spoke to said that it really only serves one but I think that will be fine as DH doesn't really love cake and I just wanted the gesture more than a big, giant cake we'll have to eat for a week. Plus, we'll be stuffed since we're on DxDP anyway.

It is set for our dinner at Narcoosee's on 12/7 which is our arrival night and is only $30. I hope he likes it!

Actually every year my cousins, my aunt and I do the Black Friday 5 am thing so if I could get that for BF for Christmas that would be great. My cousins roommate works for Target so he gets us the sales flyer and we all read it on Thanksgiving and stake out our purchases That will definitely be top on my list, thank you!!
