laptop on auto train?

If we are doing coach seating will there be anyplace to plug in my laptop. I won't need the internet but I'd like to use it for DVD movies--thanks

I would look on the auto train web site or give them a call.

We found out too late last year that there are only 2 plugs on each train( for vacuming) and the conductor told me that I should have said something at the counter person when I got our seats and they would put us next to the plug. I looked and never found the plug.
I wouldn't count on it but I would ask when I check in.

When I took the AutoTrain, I reserved myself one of the sleeper compartments. I had the smallest one, but there was an outlet in there to plug small things in.

Hi ... have taken the Auto Train many times ... you can plug your laptop in in the "Lounge" car. I do not believe there is an outlet in your coach seating area.
