Is it better to put your laptop in your hand luggage or Hold baggage?

Do not put your laptop in HOLD--chances are it'll either get damaged or possibly stolen.

I'll just get a sleeve for mine and put it in my carry-on bag.

Don't let it out of your sight. Hand luggage only for laptops. Things tend to go missing from time to time from checked in luggage.

Thanks thats what i thought, will get a sleeve for it for extra padding for inside my rack sac. Never took a laptop before its all new to me, lol so in a bit of last minute panic.

I never put my laptop in hold always hand luggage. This year I bought a notebook, quite small and very light fitted snuggly into my carry on case.

We always pack our valuables in our carry on baggage, and also make sure that your laptop is easily accessable for security checks as it has to go through the xray on it's own without a bag etc.
