Laptop Bag?

Can anyone recommend a good laptop bag that can hold a 17" computer? This is a gift for my brother. He is in his early 30s and is a very casual person--briefcase-type would not be his style. I've been looking at different messanger bags but just can't pick one!

I would look at someting with a good return policy incase he doesn't like it, maybe Lands End or LL Bean?

I have a swiss army back pack to carry my laptop in and it's great ! Even my DH likes it. It's also very comfortable to carry when traveling.

I just bought one from ebags a few weeks ago. It is called "High Sierra Scranton." It fits my 17.3" HP Laptop and it had really great reviews on the site. I paid around $47 with shipping and they seem to have a good return policy.

My DH (late 30s) isn't the briefcase type either and he also has the Swiss Army one. Is holds a good amount of other cords, etc and is very durable! We got it at Sam's Club.

LL Bean has good options. We have REI's in Texas [similar to the Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) in the Northeast] and they have lots of options in the luggage section. Check out EMS.

M son has a Macbook Pro and bought a backpack especially for laptops at the Apple store. He loves it

I have the Wenger SwissGear MAXXUM, really like it since it has lots of carrying capacity for other stuff and when worn with both straps, the weight just seems to disappear. However, it's for 15" laptops, not the larger 17". Found it for $35 with shipping with coupon at dell/gateway/someplace not apple.
