Lanyards?

Do they still give out lanyards? We are Silvers. I remember they did last time, but that was 3 years ago

My wife, son, and myself are members of the cc. This past cruise was my daughters first one. They gave all of us a lanyard. Might just have been the CM behind the desk was having a good day.

Where can I Buy them before the Cruise ?
I'm sure they are Pricey on the Ship ..

They'll do stuff like that occasionally. My wife and I did a DVC Member cruise without the kids, so we were 1 cruise ahead of them. When my wife and I went gold on our last cruise, they gave all 4 of us gold lanyards, even though the kids were technically still silver on that cruise. But I have seen them do it properly as well. We have friends who cruise DCL and they were platinum while their kids were still gold and they were given lanyards by individual status.

Where can I Buy them before the Cruise ?

You can get lanyards and card pouches at the Dollar Store, Five Below, Amazon etc... If you are good with a sewing machine, you could get the ribbon at a fabric store and the hardware and make your own lanyards.

We had the same experience with youngest grandchild being given one on his first cruise. Just a sensible step so a child does not feel left out.
