Can we buy lanyards on site at HRH or in the park to hold our room key and annual passes?

Yes you can. I bought a really nice HP one last year that can close. They have a bunch of different onces themed to different rides/characters.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, I *highly* recommend getting a "school tie" lanyard. LOVE them. I love using my Tinkerbell lanyard pouch with my Ravenclaw "tie" lanyard.

While this one does not mention a holder for the tickets and stuff, the one you find in the park does.

Thanks Badge! Same price as in the park if memory serves. They have them for each house, so if you're really a Slytherin at heart, you can show it with your lanyard.

Our school tie lanyards didn't come with a pouch at all, they were extra, but since I had my Tinkerbell pouch (which used to sit on a Disney lanyard but no more!) that I like I didnt' bother to get another pouch.
