We're surprising our DD and taking her to WDW when school gets out at the end of June. Her 10th Birthday is in April and we thought it would be fun to let her in on her surprise then. I'd like to get her started on some pins so she has something to start trading once we arrive. Where is the best (and least expensive) place to get a lanyard and some Disney pins? I looked on the Disney Store site, but they seem sssssoooo expensive. Is E-bay the best place? If not, where?

Any suggestions welcomed. We thought we would wrap up the lanyard, some pins and some Disney Dollars for her birthday and let her in the surprise. Also, do you think a 10 year old is too old for an autograph book?

The last time we were at WDW DD was 4 so I'm sure she doesn't remember allot from the last trip. We'd like to make this trip special -- any suggestions welcomed! We'll be staying 8 days (4 at AKL and 4 at YC). Thanks!

If you have a Disney Store nearby, they sometimes have great sales on pins there. Even if they don't, you can buy pins there for $5.00 and then trade them at WDW.

They have trader packs on some pin site- like mouseshoppe.com and ebay-

It depends on the kid for the autograph book- Im 23 and love getting autographs

My daughter was 9 1/2 when we were at WDW and the Disney Cruise last fall. She was definitely "in" to the whole autograph thing. It is still one of her "treasures" from the trip.

At disney.com, they are having a pin sale. There are many sets of pins available, at some great prices. And, until 2/11/04, you can use the code: PINS20 for an additional 20% off the sale price of pins. Including shipping/handling and taxes, we got our DD 7 pins for ~$18.00. They also had some lanyards on sale too!
