Hi, I'm about to book Lansky for transport from LAX to GCH on Weds. 10th. I understand we can request a 20-minute stop for supplies en-route. We're a group of four adults who will be looking to pick up some adult-beverages (some wine and perhaps a few canned mixed drinks) and a few snacks (cheese, crackers, olives, nuts etc.). Can someone please suggest a reasonable stop to request? i.e. somewhere small, where we can get in and out in 20 minutes, nice selection of higher-end products. Thanks!

Easiest location that fits you're description, would be Whole Foods at Brea, CA (about 15 miles from Disneyland).

Best thing about Whole Foods at Brea is it's close to Disneyland and that they have all the high end products and drinks you're looking for.

Plus you can place an order for EVERYTHING you want to pickup at Whole Foods on Amazon.com and then just pick up your groceries from the store. That way it ensures that you're in and out of there in less than 20 minutes.

This is a great thread. We will be doing the trip on the 9th. I'll do my best to post an update as to where we stopped on the way.

Google's page for Lansky suggests that they are permanently closed. Does anyone know if this is an error?

When we booked lansky they didn’t ask where we wanted to go and took us to vons. It was small and quick.

I think it was a Google glitch - it worked for me today. However - $325 for round trip LAX/DLR/LAX, I'm going to keep looking.

I got quoted $400. Can only think the difference is the two booster seats?

If you find a good alternative, can you please let me know?

I did a quote on the Lansky site, so it must have been the booster seats as we'd be 2 adults and no kids.

I looked online at Uber, and in August the price one way LAX to DLR for an Uber XL was $84.

We're coming from Canada, so we also have to take exchange into account, $1 usd = $1.29 cad. So the Lansky transfer round trip would be $419.25 cad and an Uber round trip would be $216.72, both depending on current transfer rates and exchange rates, of course.

I like to recommend the Ralphs on Sepulveda and Mariposa. It is about a 2-minute drive from LAX and they have good quality produce and other foods. There is also a Whole Foods down the road (maybe 5-10 minutes away) I have an arrow pointing to the Ralph's store, and highlighted Whole Foods. When I go to the office, I work close to this Ralphs, and it's my my preferred for the quality of their food and hours (used to be 24-hour before Covid). My next favorite is in the Manhattan Mall which is below Whole Foods on the map.

Target here:
101 S Euclid St, Anaheim, CA 92802

It's close to the DLR and will have everything you need at a reasonable price. The grocery items and alcohol are all located in the same area so no need to wander the whole store. And they have self checkout.

Thanks I getting ready to book our car service... I was leaning toward target, my neighbor suggested Von's when they lived in California she said that was there go to for a quick stop kinda thing...

Thoughts anyone...?

What kinds of things are you looking for? Just snacks/drinks/stuff like milk, yogurt, fruit, etc? If so, Target.

If you need lots of stuff like deli meats, prepared foods, etc, then go to Vons.

I do a lot of my grocery shopping at Target. Not sure where you are coming from, but all the Targets here have extensive grocery sections with pretty much everything you could possibly need for a few days at Disneyland. And Target has the most competitive pricing.
