Lanouba? DS6 is scared of clowns

My mom wants to take my son to Lanouba when are down there. I think he would love it but he is scared of clowns?

What you think? I hate for her to spend the money and he not go?

I would get a mid row mid section seat . I think he will be amazed at all the other stuff going on to think about the clowns. They are in make-up but no where near your Ringlings Brothers clown by any means

I too am "not fond" of clowns! But I watched part of LaNouba on TV and I didn't see anything that I thought would bug my son - or me for that matter...DS5 saw what I saw on TV and is pretty excited about going...I hope he enjoys it - I'm sure he will...it's an awfully expensive night to risk, but it looks like a good bet...

I think there is a trailer on their web-sight if it's not a surprise then you might want to show him that and see what he thinks.

You might want to wait until your child is older. It's not a traditional circus, but very artistic. He might even be bored. There is a lot going on, with balancing and bouncing, though.

My daughter saw La Nouba at age six and was absolutely captivated from start to finish. She's not bothered by clowns but I am - the absolutely creep me out, and I don't remember being bothered by them.

Um, well I think it would depend on that level of scared. Because there are clowns in it KWIM? We are going Nov. 1 : Has he by chance seen the dvd of the production? That might be a good way to gage a reaction.

I'm just like you're little one, I HATE CLOWNS!!! So, much so that I couldn't be in the picture with DD and JoJo!!! We haven't been to the Cirque at WDW but have seen all the ones that have come through here on tour. I had no problem seeing any of them. The Cirque clowns aren't "Clown" clowns. Like soneone already said, let them watch some of the videos online before you get the tickets! Good Luck!!
