Speaking of which, how about black mulch? I got some black rubber mulch from Lowe's last year. It was expensive, but I figure the color wouldn't fade like a "normal" mulch.I would definitely do darker too. But I am a black mulch loving person so take that into account.I like the sharp contrast of black to the green grass and foliage.
Ha, I did look into that! But wowsa it is an investment. But could pay off.Speaking of which, how about black mulch? I got some black rubber mulch from Lowe's last year. It was expensive, but I figure the color wouldn't fade like a "normal" mulch.

This is after a year (looks darker in person). My Tiger lilies are about to bloom, so there will be some nice orange color for a couple of weeks.Ha, I did look into that! But wowsa it is an investment. But could pay off.
After having a rich dark black mulch get faded ridiculously fast a few years ago, I learned you have to put it down when it isn't supposed to rain in 48 hours. (which is isn't exactly easy in the Ohio Valley)
How did the black rubber mulch turn out? Any fading? Worth the expense? You just may sway me. lol
I have had red dyed rubber mulch in my planter for over 7 years and it still looks great.Speaking of which, how about black mulch? I got some black rubber mulch from Lowe's last year. It was expensive, but I figure the color wouldn't fade like a "normal" mulch.

OP will have to update, but this was posted nearly two years ago. I'm guessing they have probably done whatever they're going to do.
