That is what everyone says! They said on thier web page they were originally made to carry ice so you know they can carry some weight

We are going to have ours embroidered with our names and Mickey with the date of our wedding for our guests!

Just a suggestion, if you haven't already ordered, I would consider skipping the date- for people who want to use them after your wedding, the date might make them less practical- KWIM? Just a thought.
