Has anyone won these in the parks?? I love Lands End, and these shoes are on sale now. What did you think of them in the parks? Comfy? Did you wear socks or no socks? They also have a pair of flip flops I'm eyeing.

I know every foot is different, but am wondering about your experience.

 Thank you!!!

I love Lands End, too, but every pair of their shoes I have purchased for myself or my two daughters has left us with blisters. :guilty: And that's just every day wear - not even walking around someplace like WDW.

Maybe somebody else has had better luck with LE shoes. I stick with my trusty Keens, Chacos, and lately I did great with my Teva Mush flip flops and their Olwahus (sp?) too. Very surprised at the Teva flipflops, but they were and are great!

Lives4Disney :)

I had the same experience as the abovse poster. I sent one pair back for another pair, and the same blister came back. I really like Lands'end clothing and was really disappointed that the shoes didn't work out.

I have a pair of these LE shoes and I love them! I tried putting a gel insert in them because they have a pretty flat bottom, but kept getting a blister. Once I took those out and left them as they came, they were great! I wear them without socks and they are very breathable. I am leaving for WDW in 3 days and plan to pack these. If you PM me, I will let you know how it goes!

My whole family has a pair of these...we are taking to DW on our upcoming trip. I have been wearing them around alot & I love them..but I don't have problem feet.

We do not wear socks with ours but I guess you could. I like that they dry SUPER fast when they get wet. Great for wet rides, then walking.

Of course I will be taking my flip flops & the kids tennis shoes just in case.

I purchased the sport thongs and the sport slides and love them. I've worn them to Disneyland many times and have never had a blister or even a hot spot. I plan on taking them to WDW next month.
My mom and dad (both 70) bought the Sea to Short shoe and they both love them and have used them on Disneyland day trips with no problems. My mom did have the same problem as flyerud with the gel insert, but once she took it out she was fine. They both plan on using them in WDW next month.

I love LE products also, but hated those shoes! I couldn't stand to put them on without socks, really nasty scratchy inside, and very hard. And they didn't have any arch support to speak of. Hubby didn't like 'em either. I sent them back the same day they arrived in the mail. I suppose they might have "worn in" and softened up, but I don't see how.

Our family of 7 just got back and we all wore them. Yes they are comfy but we broke them in for a week before we went. By the way after a week at the parks they smell rancid!! Of course we did not wear socks, but I thought they would kick us off the airplane, they smelled so bad. Bring some lysol or something for them and keep them on the balcony when not using them.!

I wore mine on the one day it rained on our last trip. Needless to say - never again! I wore mine without socks because I didn't want soggy socks, but for the first time ever at WDW, I ended up with blisters on my heels. I ended up stepping on the backs of the shoes to make "slides" out of them, just to keep my heels from screaming anymore. Guess I stick with my regular tried and true sneakers, but will hopefully have some Crocs to try on my next trip.

I have never tried the sea to shore shoes but I have 2 pair of the casual sport thongs. I've never been able to wear flip flops before (couldn't stand the thing between my toes!) but I LOVE these. I wear them everywhere. We are going to Disney next week and I may not bring any other shoes!
