We are wanting to get some really good seafood while we are there. We saw Landrys listed and thought we'd ask for opinions

It is not Landry's Restaurant, but Landry's does own Rainforest Cafe that is located in DTD and AK and they will also own the new restaurant that is going up in Asia in AK.

Landry's is very upscale in my opinion, but the other restaurants that they own are more casual lower cost restaurants.

are you talking about Landry's over by Bahama Breeze?
I say skip it....if your looking for good sea food try Flying Fish, Blue Zoo...or drive out to Roys...
Actually the fish at Bahama Breeze is better

Landry's is not the restraunt for me. It actually ruined my Millenium vacation. We ate there on 12/30/99 and I was up all night with food poisning and was sick much of the next day. Shot down my "drinking around the world" for my Millenium New Years Eve.
