Landry's select Members...

Hey y'all, been a Landry's member for almost 10 years and never realized you don't earn points when paying with a Landry's GC. This is new to me, I always thought you earned points no matter the method of payment. I had to choose between my AP discount or Landry's reward program. I would've defiantly gone for my AP discount if I knew I wouldn't earn points. You CAN earn points when paying with a Disney GC or purchasing a Landry's GC at their restaurants. thought I would put it out there just in case this info isn't known

Same exact thing happened to me in October. I was really annoyed to find out as my server knew I was paying with gift cards and pushed the point option vs the AP discount. He told me it was a better option to take the points since our alcohol would earn points but wouldn't be covered under the AP discount.

Once I got home and saw my visit logged and no points, I argued with Landrys that this was deceptive and the server should have let me use my AP discount, but I got nowhere. Really put a sour taste in my mouth.
