I read through some of the previous threads, but could not find a definitive answer to this question. Can two people in the same party (table of 8/3 different households) each use their Select card? We have two people in our party who could each use birthday rewards if this is allowed. Has anyone been able to use two cards this way?

I was also curious about this. I went to their web site and the best I can understand is there is only one card allowed per table. Maybe you could ask to be seated next to each other, but all still basically be together.

I read that on their website as well but then some posts from last fall's thread seemed to say they were allowed to use two cards at one table. Anybody tried using two cards at the same table at TRex recently?

We were told last May that you can't do that - only one card can be applied per table. My mom & I both have May birthdays so if it had been allowed we'd have used both our birthday rewards, but instead we had to make time to go to T-Rex when at WDW and than a local Landry's seafood place when we got home. It was a real sacrifice, but we muddled through. :rotfl2:

We did it in January. We did have to split the bill 2 ways but they let us use both birthday rewards.

We were not allowed, and this was September. Both my husband and I have September birthdays and have Landry's cards. I have to say, I was very disappointed and will likely won't be going back.

Dh and I both have June birthdays and you can't do it if you are seated at the same table. We just go twice but we have restaurants locally. Before we only had one card but when they canned the safari club his card merged into a select card at no charge (at that time, I have no idea what they are doing now) I had already paid for the select card months prior so I kept it.

We go enough that it's not a big deal for us to just go for lunch or something but we both love seafood and eat at Landry's. If you are not local to anything else or don't want to eat at Rainforest twice in one month I can understand it being a pain.

I wonder if they are different address if it's not a problem to split it, such as siblings or parents eating together. Since our accounts have the same last name/address and you aren't really supposed to that may affect who can and can't?

More than one Landry's Select Club card can be used per table, but only one card can be used per check. In other words, if you would like to use more than one card on your visit, you will just need to request that the check be split.

I hope this helps clarify. Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic.

As I suspected, it sounds like it depends on whether they will let you split the checks at one table or not. Since both cards would be new, each would be worth $50 with the birthday rewards so I'm going to try it and see what happens. If we can't do it, maybe my nephews can use the second one at Rainforest Cafe somewhere. We're not going until July 4th week, but I will post about my experience with this issue after we try it.
