i joined the Club for $25 to get the matching $25 credit and the $35 birthday credit. I plan on using some of the $75 credit at Yak & Yeti and the balance at T-REX. We arrive on November 21st early and will spend 4-5 hours at AK and then go back to OKW, where we are staying. I'll continue to try to get a reservation through Disney for T-REX for that night. If I don't, one of the perks of the Landry Select Club membership is preferred seating. For those that have used the card, how hard is it to walk up to a Landry restaurant and be seated in a reasonable amount of time. That first night at OKW will probably be our only visit to Disney Springs and I would prefer to eat at T-Rex that night. If it doesn't work out, we will be back at AK on Thanksgiving and will eat at Yak & Yeti again.

The birthday credit is $25. I wondered if it had gone up but their website says it is still $25.

Preferred seating works pretty well, but on a busy night there may be other select club members ahead of you so it could take awhile (we experienced that on a packed Saturday night). You can call T Rex and make a reservation with them directly, much easier than going through Disney and minus the no show fee. tel 407 828-8739

You walk in, show you card, and get the next available table. There's nothing difficult about it. There's really no point in having an ADR at all since select club members get priority over those with reservations anyway.

As others have said, using the card itself is very easy. Just show the card at check-in and you'll get the next available table for your party size after the club member ahead of you are seated. So you'll wait less time than the guests with reservations or walk-ups, but it doesn't guarantee that you'll be seated right away. The only time she is consider making a reservation over relying one the Priority Seating is if you're a big party (7 or more). The terms and conditions say that priority seating is valid for parties of 6 or less.

It only works like that if there are no other members in front of you. And actually we were put quickly to...the back of the line of people already checked in and called for seating. That line was so long that it was at least 20 min, though I think it was more, before we got to the seating host.

We missed the line/wait before getting in the line to be seated, but the line to be seated was still long.

Yes, but you still get preference over people with ADRs.

It's not an aggregate amount of money on your card (if I recall correctly), but sets of $25, each of which can be used once (so if you only spend $20 on a meal, you lose the remaining $5 of that $25). You can dip into more than one set of $25 per meal, but again, you don't roll over whatever is left of whichever sets you dip into. And the birthday set may not be applied first, so be aware that since you only have one month to use it, you may need to spend down the whole card while you're there. I hope I'm remembering this correctly.

From what I understand, you can only use one credit at a time. So, the $25 credit you get for joining will be used on your first meal. The next $25 credit for your birthday will be used on your next visit if it is within your birthday month time frame. If you don't lose the birthday credit, you lose it.

As for the front of the line access, the last time I went we had both a reservation and the card and the hostess expressed that they prefer we not make a reservation if we have the card. I don't know if it messes with their reservation system or what but that's what she told me. So I no longer make reservations at Landry's restaurants.

This is correct.

This is not correct. The credits can be stacked.

Do they always send your birthday 25 right on your birthday? So if I sign up now or in the next couple weeks and my birthday is October 15th will I get it on October 15th and can use it for my vacation on October 24th?

Your $25 Birthday Reward will be automatically added onto your Landry's Select Club account on the first day of your birthday month. Birthday Rewards expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month. Birthday Rewards can be deferred but will expire on the 15th if unused. If you register your account during the month of your birthday, your Birthday Reward will automatically be added to your account 24 hours after your account is registered. Regardless of sign-up date, the Birthday Reward will expire on the 15th of the following month.

Sorry everyone, just to clarify.... DH has a card with the $25 welcome credit on it. His birthday is in September and we were planning on going the last weekend in September (he will be getting the additional 25 for his bday). When we do go, can we use the $50? Or can we only use one credit at a time?

you can use both credits at the same time.

I could be wrong, but I think you will only have $50, not $75. While you do pay $25 to join, they only put $25 on the card as the welcome credit (not the $25 you spent + the $25 welcome credit). So if you have a welcome credit and a birthday credit, it will only be $50 total.

Correct.

We have had no issues showing our card and getting the next available table. Keep in mind OP that the birthday credit will expire on the 15 of the month following the month his birthday is. IE If his birthday is Oct then he has till Nov 15 to use the $25 credit.

Yes you can stack them. Also if you shop on Amazon they are great about putting the Landrys Gift Cards in the daily deals. $25 for $20, sometimes for $15. Often times prior to Christmas they will rarely but have put the $50 ones up for a discount too. We load up on those and have had no prob taking them as well. We also use the App for them as well.

Yep, the card is great! We've never had to wait more than 5 minutes at a Rainforest cafe or TRex restaurant (Disney or not)... Including Rainforest at DTD on New Years Eve!

Thank you all for the useful info! How do the credits get deducted from your bill? Do the server run your card and then deduct the proper amount?
