Landry's select club-does it work?

They just apply the credits before you pay with your card. Tell them about it first and give them your Landry's card.

We used the preferred seating walk-up last year the week before Thanksgiving and were seated within 5 minutes. We also used the $25 welcome and the $25 birthday credits on the same meal, no problem.

Seating is very quick with the Landry card. I use my Discover card cash back to get Landry's gift cards and use those at T-Rex, Yak & Yeti and Rainforest Cafe when i go to Disney. I earn reward point on my Landry's card even though i use gift cards. I usually end up with a free $25 credit from using gift cards. It works great for us.

Sorry guys, one more question! Are alcoholic drinks included when using the rewards? Or is it just off of food?

Thanks for all the replies. Between myself and my 7 year old, it is unlikely that we can spend the $50 credit in one visit. So, if I'm understanding this right, we can go once, and if the bill comes to $40, use one $25 credit and pay the $15 balance on our own. Then do the same thing at another Landry restaurant, while on our visit to Disney. I'll cancel my Landry ADR's and just use the card to get preferred seating.

I was reading the Landry's Select Club FAQ and it talks about deferring your Rewards. I can't tell from the FAQ if it means you can just tell the server to please only use $25 out of the $50 available or if the system will automatically use all $50 if that is what is needed to cover the cost of the bill.

What if I don't want to use my Reward during my next visit?
You will receive an e-mail notification when you earn a Reward. At that time you may choose to defer this Reward for a future visit. To do so, you will need to login to your account and select the “Defer Reward” button. All Earned and Birthday Rewards will be deferred until you select to enable the rewards to be used. Please note, deferring the rewards does not extend the expiration period. Earned Rewards expire 12 months from the date issued and Birthday Rewards expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month. Welcome and Member Relations Rewards cannot be deferred.

Unless where prohibited... Florida is okay, but you cannot earn or use points on alcohol in California. I was very disappointed to learn that on our trip.

Just found this thread and have a question. Can you use the 10 percent DVC discount in combination with rewards? We'll be going during my husband's birthday month, so I'm wondering if we could stack the rewards and get the 10 percent discount. If so, I imagine the 10 percent would come off after the rewards are deducted from the bill. Still, would be a great deal for Y&Y!

We have asked to use other discounts while using our Landry's select card and have always been told we could not use both.
