Landry's restaurants (trex/rainforest)

Last year we bought (with points through a rewards program) a Landry's restaurants gift card for our trip to Niagara Falls Canada because we planned to eat at the Rainforest Cafe there. We did. But for some reason that I still do not completely understand, they refused to take the gift card and said they only take Rainforest Cafe specific cards (maybe due to being an international location or something? I honestly don't know)

Fast forward to today and I learn that Disney properties has at least 2 Landry's restaurants - T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe. So with an upcoming Disney trip, I was wondering if anyone knows if either will accept this Landry's gift card? How about for use in the gift shops (we currently are not set on eating at either)?

Yak & Yeti in the Animal Kingdom Park is also a Landry's restaurant and by far the best of the options. You will really enjoy your meal there.

I wouldn't think you'd have an issue with them taking a landrys gift card. We were able to use $50 in laundry's rewards at Yak n Yeti with no issues. And if you are going to one of the restaurants, give this one some serious consideration. The food is great and with a landrys card you get priority seating.

According to their website the Landry's gift cards can be used only at locations within the United States. You will be able to use it at Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex or Yak & Yeti in DW.

Y&Y is our go to place on our AK day. Excellent food and interesting decor.

I'd like to know this too, as I have five $25 Landry's gift cards earned from Swagbucks that I would love to combine to pay for some of our meals!
