We are using ours this weekend. Dh's b-day is October and since we typically come in November, I made sure it was in HIS name and with his birthday.

Does the card get you a free appetizer like Safari Club did after we use the initial $25 credit? I loved the Safari Club and always used an appetizer as one of our meals.

I also have .99 kids' meal tickets but only one of my kids qualifies anymore!

We just walked up to the podium and showed the hostess my card. It was a busy night and we got sat within 10 minutes. I noticed our slip said VIP and the seater and the waitress both made a big deal that we had the card. We used both the sign up bonus and the bday reward and had a manager come out and thanked us for coming in - server said that is what they do when you have a Landry's card

?....does the b-day bonus go right on the card? We are leaving end of Jan and my b-day is in Feb. I want to make sure I don't have to print anything out. We're going to T-Rex.

It was after the time that my dh's birthday award was supposed to have expired but it was still showing on his account also. We went to a Claim Jumper restaurant a couple of weeks ago and was able to use it without a problem. We also combined it with my birthday award (separate card).

Thank you for this thread. I had no idea you could combine the birthday reward with the initial reward. We are going in December and DH's birthday is during our trip. I am going to register him. Does anyone know if you can also use the AP 10% discount with your rewards? TIA

Yep, it just shows up on your card but they do send you a birthday email to let you know it is there. You can also log in to your account and it shows what rewards/credits you have.

I just checked my account balance and its still showing my $25 from last year and my $25 for this month. I'm wondering what will happen when they swipe my card. If last years reward is not usable, then why do they show it as part of your balance?

McCormick and Schmicks is now part of Landry's also. I got an email and followed the registration directions but as of today haven't gotten a new card.

That was Oct 4...just checked the email. It said 2-3 weeks. We are going in January, my birthday month, so thanks for reminding me.

You can also sign up for Levy's card program if you are a visitor to Fulton's, Portobello or Wolfgang Puck's restaurants. You get $25 after spending $250. (But no birthday reward.)

Just back from WDW and I asked that exact question. Sadly, the answer was "no"; it could only be used for restaurant purchases.

How early is your birthday credit applied to your account? We will be going to Rainforest cafe in a couple of weeks , but sadly my birthday is in January. It seems like it was added in December last year.
