Landing at Sanford after 9pm - help!

I can get a great flight on Southeast into Sanford, but would not get in till after 9pm. Car rental agencies there are not open at that time. Are there any nearby hotels that offer shuttles? What are my options? Don't want to sleep in the airport!

Don't know if this helps but Coach USA would probably offer service at that time. Also, I would have to believe that the towncar services will operate then and you can always get a cab. Go to the Sanford Airport website and they will tell you all of the transportation services available. I know a town car is about $150 round trip (to universal anyway) and Coach Usa charged us $40/person round trip to go from sanford to universal.

We're going in Jan. and I'm pretty sure our flight lands after 9 pm.
We're going with Tiffany Towncar, it's around $150 or so if I remember correctly. That isn't a rental car, but it is an option. Good luck

Despite what it says on their stated hours or on-line, all of the on-site rental agencies stay open for the flight to arrive.

We landed at about 9:30 PM on a Saturday night last summer and they were all open. I had booked my National rental (to drop off at the car care center the next day --- cheaper than a limo service) on-line and put in that I was arriving at 5:00pm and then called the on-site National office and they put me down as arriving late. I called to confirm they would be open late the day before we left and they still had me on the calendar. They were there and it was a very quick and easy transaction. I was on the way to Disney (after a stop at a grocery store) within minutes!

Wow Hawkeye - that is great news! I was hoping to book National so will give it a whirl! Just curious, did you fly Southeast Airlines from Newburgh to Sanford? This is what I am considering and was wondering how your experience was. TIA
