I can either take the TGV at 9:12 (the earlier one at 8:21 is more expensive) OR I am actually starting to think I can navigate the RER!! I have been doing massive research on Paris attractions and the route to DLP seems pretty easy not to mention I will be traveling the RER and Metro for the 2 days I am in Paris sightseeing.
Pros, cons and thoughts on either of these? The TGV looks really cool and we certainly do not have a high-speed train here...plus I am leaning towards purchasing the Carte Orange.
I have read that the Carte Orange is about 32 Euros for the 7 day pass for zone 1-5. If I want to travel from CDG I would need to zone 6...correct? Can someone direct me to the cost of the extra zone....(I cant seem to remember where I found the costs).
I already have small photos (extra from our passport photos) for the passes!
Oh, and we can take the TGV BACK to CDG as taking the RER would require us leaving 1 1/2 hours earlier (9 am) for a ride that on the TGV would allow us to leave later (10:40 am).
What do you think?
