Landing at 12:30. How long will we have in Epcot?

I am thrifty but I would just add the day. I wouldn't plan on getting much 'done' but it gives you time to relax and acclimate.

We often plan on doing 'nothing' and when those are your expectations, they are often exceeded, which makes a nice start to vacation :wizard:

That's my attitude too. I would maybe skip G+ that day, and just follow your nose instead. Once you add G+, you have "a schedule" and that can be tricky on arrival day with delays, etc.

I’m trying to decide if we should go to Epcot on arrival day mid June. Is it even worth getting a ticket for that day? We are only having 4 whole days. We just went in December, so it’s not that important to do everything at Epcot. We are going another day to Epcot and skipping AK this trip. Our flight lands at 12:30. There will be 2 adults and are staying at Pop.
If we do go to Epcot what’s your guess on how long we will have in the park with a closing of 9:00?
Hopper passes difference between 4 and 5 days are 20 dollars. In my opinion, definitely worth the price just to walk around Epcot especially at night even though you were just there. You will be at your hotel around 2 pm. After you get settled you maybe at Epcot around 4 that gives you 5 hours plus it could be a extra hour night or they could change the times of the parks by then

I normally budget 2.5 hours from landing to being in a park.

After landing:
Pick up bags
Secure transportation and travel to resort
Check in at resort, drop off bags
Travel to park

I’m guessing you could be there by 3pm and have 6 hours of park time. Personally that’s enough park time for us to go.

Turn around time for me was 2 hours from MCO to Epcot directly, checking in to the hotel afterwards allowed me some extra time.

That seems totally reasonable on average, especially based on your actual experience. I don't even think you would need to rush or anything in that case to make it in under two hours, if you are going directly there.

Thanks for the input. I'm committed to Epcot for my family's day that we land, but I like reading the good and the bad. We aren't landing until 3:30 but Going to Epcot for my DD to meet Elsa and Anna for the first time is worth it. I figured if she can meet them, get Frozen E After done and then just get in line for Remy before the park closes it was worth it. Esp with the cost of Remy. Fwiw we are also staying at Pop and I stayed there because of the ease to Epcot and HS due to the family love of Frozen and SW.

3:30 is a much tougher call, I think, and depends on the age of kids, length of stay, and other factors. A delay could easily push your arrival at Epcot past 6pm. A long travel day and closing the park could tire people out and make it harder to rope drop the next morning.

For me, dinner at Bar Riva and some pool time or resort exploration would be a nice, leisurely start to the stay. YMMV.

Oh I understand I'm a bit crazy :) but if we don't get in at least something for Epcot on arrival day we will only have the day that GotG opens. That was amazing/unfortunate luck. My little one just wants to meet princesses. Plan is to stack G+ for the late evening and get some rides done so we can chill more on the main day.
