Land/Sea versus 7 day

I would like to hear from people who did the Land/Sea combo and if they felt like they got enough time to see/do everything. If you could do the 7 day and see a few parks afterward, would that be the thing to do?
My kids are 14,12 and 6, and we are wondering if 7 days is too long for Cruising? (We haven't cruised before!)

We started with the land/sea because we had never cruised before and were afraid we would be bored. Boy were we wrong!! 3 months after our first 3 night cruise, we did a 7 night, and since that time we've cruised 5 times with a 6th booked--so it is obvious we love to cruise. In the fall, we plan on doing a 7 night, then on Saturday heading over the WDW for 2 days. If you are uncertain, try to do a short cruise and then decide--I bet you'll be hooked.

We were leaning toward the 7 day. I have DD 14 and DD 12 that have been to Disney twice. DD 6 has never been and isn't as excited about the cruise as the teens. ( I bet she changes her mind though!)
She wants to do the parks at the end of the cruise, and I know we'll hit MK and AK, and either Universal or MGM but not both.
I had thought about taking 2 different trips but then I couldn't imagine being that close to the parks and not going!!!

Wife and I did the Land/Sea in our Honeymoon three years ago and are doing it again exactly the same way this June (same resort, same cabin class, same package). I want to do a 7 day cruise at some point, but the three day cruise was a good end to the 4 days in the park. I think Disney packages all the Land/Sea stuff with the cruise last so you'll have time to recover from the park. Trying to cover 4 parks in three days is pretty taxing.
