I'm thinking about returning to DW in May. I would like to try and put together a 3 day resort @ Poly,cl then cruise for 3 days and return to Poly,cl for 5 nights. I have AP's for my family.

1. Is it better to book everything seperate?

2. Is the last week or April / First week of May a good time to cruise?

3. Would 11 nights be too long. Our AP's are only good for the 4 theme parks.

We stayed @ Poly last May and loved it. We did spend quite a bit of time @ the resort in the pool and on the lake.

Has any one tried this type of vacation before? How did it work out and would your recomend this land/sea/land?

Cash and I did a land/land/land/sea/land this last May...I spent a week at a condo in the WDW area, moved to the Pop Century for a while, then moved to AKL for 4 days, then took a 4-day Bahamas cruise on the Wonder and, when I returned from the cruise, spent three days at Port Orleans Riverside. May 1 to whenever...Loved it!
Did a similar trip in January....no cruise, though...

Booked the condos through RCI and one other timeshare, booked WDW resorts and cruise through different travel agents (not recommended...too confusing...pick a TA that specializes in Disney like any mentioned on these Boards)....some package deals (land/sea was package) rest was separate. Knitted them all together with ground transport...Worked great.
