BTW....if you have tried to get into the Lounge and haven't heard back on getting in, try again because I've opened the door to everyone who's knocked so far.

Is it a man thing to watch the same movies over and over again? I know that everyone has a few movies they can watch repeatedly, but he will watch any movie a dozen times.

My DH would have watched "Armageddon" every single day if I had let him.

I just peeped in here to see what was going on. Carry on. :)

Well grab a chair and stay a while if you'd like...hold on, let me just wipe the juice off of that one....

I love that movie. It makes me cry.

My husband's recent favorite is some hot rod documentary DVD that he picked up in the $5 bin. T2 was a nice break. I don't know why I pay for Netflix.

My gosh, Lara, you've got a lot going on.

That's because I ignore it....If you don't deal with it it goes away, right????

Actually, I've really neglected my own health for the last few years. My son has been so sick and in and out of doctors offices and hospitals that I just let myself go...big time.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was a bit of a boot in the butt for me, so I scheduled a physical and an OB appointment, because I hadn't been to either in a couple of years. Well, turns out I had to get a bunch of follow up work done. Now I need follow up from the follow up....

Hey Losers!

I think I'm finally starting to shake this stupid flu. It's been almost a week, let go already!

Next week is my doctor week. Well, not MY doctor week... shuffle the boys between their doctors week.

The fun never ends.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. It takes me a month to watch 2 movies.

I think it was at one time, but the duct tape is pretty much covering the whole thing....

Oh good. Hopefully the duct tape will leave some of that nice black residue on the backs of my thighs.

That almost always works for me.

That's always a good look. I don't care what anyone says.

Welcome Mirth! Did you find any takers for your ticket?

:sad2:

I think it's a natural reaction for moms to push their own issues aside to deal with their families. I know you're smart enough to do what needs to be done to take care of yourself, and if you don't, we'll harass you about it.

The flu sucks. I'm glad you're feeling a little better. :flower3:

Hey! I didn't know you were here too. BONUS!!! No, not yet. I'm thinking about taking some more drastic measures.

I saw that in the theater when I was about 6 or 7 months pregnant with #1DS and when it got to the part where Liv Tyler was talking to Bruce Willis I started bawling like a baby and couldn't stop.
It still makes me tear up but not as bad as that time.

We signed up for Netflix in February and didn't return the first two movies until October. Right now we have 3:10 to Yuma (which we haven't watched) and Good Luck Chuck (which, in true loser fashion, I let my 13 year old watch before I checked it out and found out that it is chock full of "adult situations"). We've had them both for at least 3 weeks.

yep I keep aying I am going to get to the doctor esp with dealing with this insominia stuff, but they just keep renewing my Ambien which I dont really want to take. But once again another week of having to get DS10 to Drs will trump mom. He has the ortho appt for the spacers and now I have to get him inot the eye Dr to get new glasses ASAP.

The only thing I am good about for me is the GYN and the dentist:confused3

When I was about 12 months pregnant with my youngest, I watched March of the Penguins. I went absolutely hysterical at the part where the baby penguin died.
