If we are looking for a good price, is there any advantage to booking land and sea seperately?

You would have to compare prices for booking it as a package and separately. Usually booking separately costs less, and you can book whatever hotel accommodations you want for as long as you want.

The advantage of booking separately is that when you book a land and sea together, your cabin determines the hotel you can choose. Obviously booking a higher category cabin gets you a more upscale resort - more $$$. If you book separately, you can book the higher cabin and book a value resort if you want, hopefully saving some $$$. I would check both ways to see how you might save.
