I've been lurking around these forums for a while but finally ready to post something! (Sorry if I mess up somehow heh.)

I've been planning a maybe trip for november this year, a cruise+wdw right after. And I noticed on the dcl website there's a Land and Sea package type dealie.

How does this work exactly?
Is there any real reason to book with this deal? Will I save any money or is it just for streamlining transportation?

Thank you for the help ^^.

My understanding is that it's better to book WDW and DCL separately. If you want to book the package though, I believe you have to call Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent directly (can't do it online). I could be wrong. We are doing a couple of days at WDW before our 7 night cruise next month. Booked each separately, I was told can't get free dining with the land/sea package deal.

DCL did away with their true Land/Sea packages several years ago. Basically what they have now is a cruise with a hotel add on that includes transportation between the two. There is nothing provided by DCL that you can't get if you book separately and if you book separately, you are able to take advantage of any special deals they might be having for the WDW portion (free dining for example). Personally, I'd just book them separately (although you will have to pay 2 deposits) and if you want the transportation between the port/resort, you can add that on to your cruise reservation. (Don't know where you are coming from to get on your cruise but you can have DCL add on transportation from the airport or a WDW resort to the port too -- regardless of who booked your air or hotel!)
And :welcome: officially to the boards!

This is true, but be advised the transportation costs extra - $35/person one way. We rented a car this past summer and it saved us a bit of time and money.

We used Glass Slipper Concierge a few years ago for a "Land and Sea" set up. Went flawlessly.
