Well here's my view on it...
Now, I'm what you would call a somewhat religious person. I mean, I believe in God and heaven and all that stuff, but I don't really go to church, (because I hate the idea of it), and I don't believe everything in the bible. I believe a lot of it was blown way out of perportion. I don't really pray, and I don't really worship. I believe my relationship with god is like this. I don't ask him to do much for me, and I don't expect him to ask much of me in return. However, when one of us needs help, the other will be there for each other. Kind of like that old friend you never really talk to, but you have each other's backs in times of trouble. I have more to say on the issue, but it would take all night to type out, so I'll kind of skip ahead.
Now, if two gay people wan't to get married and live together and all that stuff, it's fine by me. Honestly I don't believe being gay is a choice. I didn't just wake up one day and decide to be strait. They didn't just wake up one day and decide to be gay. It's a lifestyle that I'm willing to accept, and live with. I feel that as long as they don't bother me about it, I'm fine with it. Sure the Bible says Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve and all that, but as I've stated before, I don't believe everything in the Bible. It wasn't written by God, it was written by a human being just as inperfect as you or I.
I also would just like to say, I actually do believe in a degree of sin. I think that the guy who swore a lot probably has a better chance of being forgiven and going to heaven than the guy who killed 30 people. I mean, I have a cousin going into the second grade. I've heard her spew a few swear words that she's picked up from wherever. If the fact that she's sworn makes her no better than say, a Charles Manson, well then I just don't think anybody has a shot at heaven, seeing as how, we've all sinned at least once in our lives, and anybody who hasn't is either REALLY deticated, or has lied.
Also, this one comment has just been bothering me. Don't ask me why, it just has.
The ribs protect, more or less, your lungs. Sure they also protect your heart, but if they wern't protecting your lungs as well, they wouldn't go down the length of your chest. Alright, that's out of the way. Lol.
So just to sort of wrap up my opinion on the whole matter, if Lance Bass says he's gay, meh. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Whatever float's their boat.
