Lancaster Pa Disney Outlet Now Open!!

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but on the news this morning they said the Disney Outlet is now Open!!!

Have you been there recently? My sister visited about a month ago (soft opening perhaps?) and she said it wasn't very different from the regular Disney stores - she wasn't very impressed. I was hoping for bigger discounts and park merchandise, but she said that wasn't the case. Just wondering if that might have changed.

So where is it at!!>>> Is it in Rockvale, Tanger....I haven't been down that way for a while but if it's near there I'm sure I'll find it...My DD will be so excited to visit there.....before we visit the world in May

It has been open for a few months now. It is at the Rockvale Sq. Most stuff is the same as at the regular store. They do have sales, I got a stuffed Bambi reg. 14.50 for 1.50, that are not in the store.

We were there in early January. It isn't that new.

phisigprincess - You aren't likely to ever see park merchandise at the Disney Stores or outlets because they are owned by a different company.

As for the Lancaster outlet, we thought it was very nice and had some good deals. DD got a couple of shirts and a pair of flannel pants. We also got a cute Pooh mug and a couple of Pooh toys with the head that can rotate to show different expressions.

I was there about a month ago and I LOVED it!!! Much bigger than my 2 local Disney stores, and much more selection. Maybe because they were new? But they had a great selection of clearance (10 x the number of clearance racks) and many more sizes than my local stores. Same prices though. And you can use regular Disney store coupons there as well.

We visited there just a few weeks ago. It was very similar to our regular store, but it is bigger. I found some decent deals and you could use the coupons they send, so I though that was a real plus! Not sure if this will be the best outlet ever, but it was at least decent and worth a visit.

I have to say I also visited the Gymboree outlet very near the Disney outlet - and man alive did I find some true bargains there! They were have a major clearance and I bought a ton of stuff for my two girls (3 and 7) for next winter and I spent like $40 - it was insane compared to the regular store (even on sale or clearnace type prices). I will certainly be back to check on that outlet store!

My mom lives about 5 minutes away so I'll tell her to check it out for me next time she's out shopping. I live about 20 minutes from there.

i just wish we had a regular disney store around here so my kids could try stuff on before we buy them. i am still hoping the stuff fits that i ordered online. we used to have some sort of disney store or something but it was almost all stuffed animals and movies...not other disney merchandise.
