So, we are house hunting (for the first time) and we think that we have found our "dream house"!!!
We can see ourselves in it and love it, but we are concerned about one thing.
EVERY room has laminate wood floors (Pergo) except the kitchen and bathroom (they are tiled).
I've always dreamed of that "NYC" or "Chicago" apartment look, with that wood floor look, but we are in Michigan, and it is COLD in the winter. I understand that we can and will buy large area rugs (and slippers!
), but I still wonder if the floors really makes the rooms as cold as people have suggested they will. (Comments made by homeowners of carpeted homes
