anyone ever stay here? how is the shuttle service?

I have stayed there a few years back. Though I did not use the shuttle service, I can tell you it was the WORST breakfast EVER! They have this huge room that looks like it will be great, but the crowded room and nasty condifion made me go out to eat.

Have stayed here twice: 2002 for a week with DD's high school softball team and 1 night this past trip, April 2007, because we arrived a day early and were unable to get into POP that night.

The room is quite large with a living room and separate bedroom, microwave, frig, coffee maker and supplies, tv, table and chairs. Tub and toilet are in separate room. When taking a shower, the tub drains very slowly. The water I was standing in was up to my ankles. The sleeper sofa mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Dh and I kept rolling into the middle. Beds were fine. We were charged $145 with AAA discount. for 5 adults. We had a car so we never used the shuttle.

The breakfast was horrible! Eat at the parks or a nearby restaurant. Lots of school groups stay here. The night we were there 4 buses came in right after we checked in. We were so glad we only had to spend 1 night there. POP was so much better!!!!

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the other posters.
We stayed there in 05 and would never stay there again. Rooms are very dark and depressing. There is only one window--its in the bedroom....so if you are sitting in the living room its like a cave. Pool was just "ok". Breakfast was a nightmare--icky food, crowded, tables weren't cleaned well in between....and always a line.
