Is there a post office on Palm Parkway? If so, to get to it from DTD, would I go out to the light at 535 and turn left and then go down to Palm Parkway (Sheraton Safari on corner) and turn right?

It has been several years since I've been there, but that sounds about right. Or perhaps it's one street past Palm Parkway. It's in a strip mall that's "L" shaped, and it's near the back left of the section.

Hopefully, someone can confirm for you.

It's not there anymore -- there is still a sign near that strip mall - but my daughter gets her hair done at Salon Salon which is next door to what used to be the post office and although you can sort of tell it used to be a post office it is no longer.

Is there a post office in Lake Buena Vista?

You can search for a post office location from usps.com.

http://www.switchboard.com/usps.1355/dir/6_0/index.htm?mem=1355

There are several serving the LBV area: 8536 Palm Parkway, 3152 Vineland Rd (in the Chevron Food Mart) and 10450 Turkey Lake Road.

I did that originally and that's why I asked how to get to the one on Palm Parkway. I thought I could go from DTD to 535, turn left and go to Palm Parkway and turn right. I was just hoping someone could tell me for sure.

Are you just looking for any post office to mail something or are you looking specifically for the Lake Buena Vista branch in order to get a LBV postmark?

I will need to mail something after I go to DTD and I just wanted the closest location to DTD.

There are two post offices. Both are on Palm Parkway (sorta).

The first one is the new location, it replaces the one in the plaza just past the Sheraton Safari on 535. I believe it is located in the same plaza as Cici's Pizza on Palm Parkway (right side). I believe it has limited hours and services, but most likely will be able to handle whatever you need.

There is a full service Post Office further down the road, on the left side. It has more services and extended hours.

I would like to mention... if you are purchasing something at DTD to mail home... most any Disney merchandise location can ship directly from that location. And, when you choose that option, often times you do not have to pay sales tax.

If you just need to mail a letter, there is a postal drop box (designed like R2D2) right between World of Disney and Basin. Stamps are available at select WDW merchandise locations.

Tyler,

Thanks for that great information. I will need to actually go to the post office. I'm glad to know the other info, too, though.
