Which one would you choose and why? We are using points for our trip and all three are Category 5 hotels which means 46K Marriott points.

This is for early December.

Are these the one's in the Marriott Village?

How many people do you have?

The Courtyard is the nicest of the three, but does not have free breakfast so I would probably pick the Springhill. Most room, free breakfast...

We have stayed three times at the Fairfield. We loved it. Free breakfast also!

We are staying at the Residence Inn LBV, which is also a category 5, which makes no sense because from what I've seen it's the same as the one we stayed at in Texas and it's only a category 2. But, on the plus side, the housekeeping was always wonderful, the free hot breakfasts were a great way to save money, and the pool looks nice. We like the idea of having a kitchen in our room to put leftovers in and keep lunch meat for a few lunches we plan on eating in the room. Just a thought!

What's your status w/ Marriott? If it's high, I'd suggest going with Fairfield....we were given an oversized room there w/ 2 beds plus a fold out sofa (stayed there on points, dh is platinum). It's not as large a hotel as the Springhill Suites so the food court doesn't get quite as packed. Otherwise go w/ Springhill for the free breakfast instead of the Courtyard (which gets used more for conventions---the only plus there is the walk-out balcony, we had one that overlooked the pool area which was nice but the room was smallish). The Courtyard has the nicest pool, but if you're staying at any of the LBV Marriotts you can pool hop.

Other options to consider: the Courtyard on Palm. While it doesn't have the free breakfast it does have fairly large suite rooms w/ a separate bedroom and kitchenette. We had 2 rooms reserved here on points in May and were upgraded to the larger suite rooms.

Residence Inn off Palm is very nice, but chances are if you book on points you'll get a studio room.

No matter what you should be happy w/ any of these 5 hotels.

Stayed at Fairfield this Easter. No problems at all with hotel it was the location. Getting out of hotel to the junction was crazy(maybe just Easter rush).
Much prefer Courtyard on Palm, no breakfast but 10 times easier to get in and out of. Going back for 25 nights next month:goodvibes

Tell me about the Marriotts on Palm? What do you guys mean by ease of getting in and out of?

DW status is Gold. We are going at the beginning of December pre-cruise so pools are not really as big a deal for us as going at another time in the year.

You should have no problem anywhere with traffic early December.
At Easter getting out of the Marriott village and turning right onto SR535 was approx 15-20 minutes. The line of traffic built up from SR535 right past the Village every evening(morning also if not out early). Not as bad if you wanted to get out and turn left upto Premium outlets.
We were told we could use pools in any of the 3 hotels but Fairfield was ideal for us.

This is the one we prefer a lot better access at busy times.

Any other opinions on those hotels? I guess we should consider the closest/nicest Marriott to the gates as well.

I have stayed at all 3. It depends what you are at the hotel for. We liked the pool best at Courtyard. The rooms I would have Courtyard and Fairfield tied, Springhill last. Breakfast was good at Fairfield and Springhill.

We are going for the Courtyard on Palm. It is 38K for two nights and then we head down to Canaveral before our cruise.

Thanks everyone.

Just wondering if you booked a hotel at Port canaveral?
We are staying at Fairfield as well and taking a cruise after ,and wondering if we should stay overnight in Lake buena vista and drive the morning of the cruise ( it seems to be much cheaper this way...), or stay at the port the night before the cruise.
Would love some input.
