Cast:
Alaine (aka Lainy67) - 34, the planner, mother, wife, and scribe.
Frank - 36, the hubby, father, and primary photographer.
Sarah - 10, the eldest daughter, and in Disney terms - an adult
Samee - 3, the youngest daughter, and hyperness personified.

OMG... it is time to get up. Got up and cleaned. Literally dragged Samee up and to the bus stop and for the first time WDW transportation was AWFUL. The MK bus took forever (2 Epcot busses, 2 AK busses, and a bus for TL and MGM came and went before a MK bus got anywhere near us - 25 minutes later). Then we got to MK and Frank and Samee ran to the monorail. Sarah and I trailed and then Sarah said she had to go NOW. So we detoured through security at MK. The Walkie Talkies came in handy. Frank and Samee hopped the monorail as we were cutting it close. Oh No. His monorail was stuck in the Contemporary for about 15 minutes. So he was late for the PS. We waited for the next monorail and caught it 20 minutes after we got to the station. What is going on?

Made it to Park Faire just as the buzzer thing that Frank had received (10 minutes late) went off (9:30). PHEW!

This was the best character meal of the trip. Pooh, Tigger, Aladdin, and Alice came to our table. Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter were in the lobby. Let me say this... the Mad Hatter was the best character we saw all week. He was awesome. He sat down at one point in Franks seat. It was great.

We took a cab back to Riverside and headed to the room. WHAT IS THAT SMELL??????? It reeked. Started packaing and Sarah started to put her backpack stuff together. Found the smell. After a week chocolate milk tends to do that and I guess it had enough of being neglected and decided to explode in her backpack while we were gone that morning. Guess what Sarah's big souvenir was going to be!!!!

They picked up our bags and we let them know they would have to do a severe cleaning of the bed (where the backpack was when we discovered it). We hopped over to DTD for last minute shopping. We are very close to implosion. All tired. All had feet complaints, etc.... Samee was bad. She did not want shoes on at all. We ate icecream at Ghiradelli. Then to World of Disney.

5 t shirts, a toddler dress, underwear for a 3 year old, a Tink hat for me (the only one that didn't get a hat earlier in the week), another pin, a backpack and a dolly later we headed out. Frank had taken Samee to play in the water, so she was soaked. Grabbed the bus back to POR, and got there about 10 minutes before our driver was going to pick us up. He was there waiting. Uh.... Ok.. We rushed to change Samee, and get our stuff out of hock, grab last minute pamphlets for the scrapbook, guess we won't get any last minute drinks and to the airport. Check in went smooth, although I thought we were done with lines when we left Disney Property. Uh No. Flight home went smooth. Stopped at Wendy's on the drive home from the airport and home a little after 8 pm central time. Now Samee is awake and wants to play. UGH.

BEST PART OF DAY -

EVERYONE - Breakfast and the Mad Hatter

WORST PART OF DAY -

Everyone - Having to leave OH and Waking up for Samee.

Great trip. Thanks for posting.I'm glad Sarah's tummy settled down.

Great Trip Report Alaine! I loved how you posted everyone in your family's favorites and disappointments for the day. :earsgirl:

I read & enjoyed all your trip reports! Those girls sound so sweet.....and so are you for planning such a magical vacation. Thanks for sharing!

We go tomorrow afternoon to the Dr. to have Sarah checked out. She complained about her stomach on and off for several months. We finally started watching it a while ago, and actually made the appointment before we went to WDW.

Thanks so much for the trip reports, enjoyed reading them. Looks like you got to have many photos with the characters, good to see they are out there more. Thanks for sharing!:earsboy: :earsboy:

your daughters sound adorable! i loved reading samee's interpretations of different things...my favorite was when she saw spaceship earth...the whole eek thing was cute! thanks for posting your trip report! i can't wait til we get back from ours so i can post our report too!! well, let me rephrase that...i don't want to have to come back and post my trip report cuz then that means that my trip is over!! i think you get the idea...

Thanks, Lainy. I love to live vicariously by reading trip reports. It is especially nice to hear from people who live nearby (we live in Fort Worth and Burleson). We were there in June and stayed at POR, too, and will be staying there again in October. With as many people as there are who love to talk about WDW, it seems like I'd run in to more of them when I wear my Disney World shirts. I rarely get any reaction.

Love your reports. Great trip. Hope the doctors visit went well.

Thanx for the compliments. Sarah has had all the tests we can so far and everything is negative. The next thing is for us to start taking her off of milk products and see if that helps. Thank all of you for all of your concerns.

Lainy

(Hope Sarah's tummy feels better) :(

I'm so glad you liked POR, I remember you asking about it. Thanks for the reports, I really enjoyed them!
