We want to get over to AK at the rope drop so we set a wake up call for 6:45. Plan is to eat at 7:30 then on to AK. Back to the room for mini-break and swim then to MK around 5 and over to Ohana fro 8:30 ps.
Stitch called this morning. Frank answered and said it was cute. Headed for food court for breakfast. NOTE: Share breakfasts. The pancakes were huge. Gaught bus to AK and got there just after 9 am. Right after going through security Sarah was hailed by a moving talking tree. It brought her over to pin trading Mike. Mike didn't really like Sarah's pins. Samee thought it was funny but wouldn't give it a drink Frank did and it thanked him by peeing on him.
We went in and got a stroller. Went to the safari. Was on in 5 - 10 minutes. Rode it. I hope the pics turn out because it was very bumpy. The car in front of us had to stop due to the Wildebeasts. Did the jungle walk after and spent a LOT of time here. The gorilla was neat.
On the way to Asia, saw Baloo and King Louie Had our pics taken and got an autograph of Baloo. Samee played the drums. Walked on. It was 10 minute til 11:00. Kali was a 15 minute wait but Fast Pass return was 11:30, so we grabbed a FP and went to Flights of Wonder. The acting was hokey but the birds neat. Wish I had been the one with the Owl coming at me. What a cool pic. Went back to Kali and walked on. Right by all the silly people waiting in the regular line.
This was interesting. The first CM measuring said no way for Samee. The second well close enough so she got a yellow band and on we went. We are so glad she could go. She LOVED it. She grinned even when hiding her face for a few seconds. WE were soaked. Not a little. More like jumped into the swimming pool fully clothed wet. Everyone we passed laughed at Samee and her drenched cuteness.
Bought two frozen bananas, and Sarah got a Mickey head. YUM.
Went to Dinoland. Walked onto Dinosaur and did baby switch. Sarah wasn't thrilled that we made her ride this one twice. Had her head down both times. (She'll thank us when she's older). I loved it. Frank thought it was ok.
Grabbed FP's for primeval whirl (only a 30 minute wait), and went and rode Triceratops Spin for Samee. Posted time 10 minutes. Actual time - MAYBE 5. Great - time to kill. Lets look at toys. 1 Pooh bear dressed as a frog and a pressed penny later, a 10 minute wait on a bench and walked onto Primevil Whirl. Wait aren't we riding with the girls who decided not to do Fast Pass when we got ours. Hmmmmmm. Baby swapped. Sarah loved it. Frank and I thought it was ok. Samee was MAD she couldn't ride.
Samee had to have a fan squirter. 17 bucks. Sheesk. It better be good.
Walked onto It's Tough to be a Bug. It was cute. The stink bug was funny. At one point I had Samee who required pabby and burples (her burp rag from when she was little) hanging on one arm for dear life and Sarah grabbing the other. I was cracking up.
Decided that we were done. But, it looked like our plan to swim was not likely. As soon as we got off the bus at POR it started to pour. Go figure that I had had the brilliant idea to go to the second bus stop to see the walk. Well we got lost. When we finally made it to the room we were as drenched as we were coming off of Kali. We snacked and watched the weather channel. We decided to take a nap. Slept til 5:30. Got up and dressed in dry clothes and headed to the Magic Kingdom.
Stopped at the Chappeau. Frank got a safari hat, Samee a red Minnie hat with a flower on the top and Sarah a baseball cap that looked like Pluto's head.
We walked through the glass blowers shop and others. Decided to get an ice cream and traded a pin (Goofy this time) then headed to FantasyLand. Walked onto the Carousel. The girls and I rode, while Frank was taking picture. Sarah had the biggest steed. She had to have help getting down.
Walked onto Small World, then walked on Pirates. At this time we headed to Ohana. Asked to ride up front in the monorail, but it was full. Maybe next time. Had a seat by the window at Ohana. The food was great. The girls both did a coconut race, adn the girls and I did hula hoops. I couldn't get mine going at all, and Samee never got the hang of it, so Sarah was the only one doing it. Watched the fireworks from the restaurant.
Decided we were too worn out to do the monorail / bus thing, so intended to get a cab back from the Poly. Bob, a truly wonderful CM there, drove us back. BIG BIG thanx to Bob. Changed into swimsuits and hit the main pool. Hmmmm well it had been a good idea, but the slide was closed and there were no towels which we realized after we were already wet. Swam for a few minutes. Frank filled our cups with drinks and we went back to the room. Dried off and into bed.

Alaine - The rain - realizing I tipped too little for Emory at Ohana. (used to leaving 2x the tax and it being around 17%, so left a little more than that. Well tax there ISN'T 8%) Sorry Emory!
