"Laila" The Essence of Norway is my favorite!

I love Laila, it's my absolute favorite perfume, I go through about a bottle a year so I always buy a new bottle when ever I'm down there, like others I refuse to buy it anywhere but Disney World.

BUT, this year when I went to EPCOT to pick up my bottle I couldn't believe how much the price went up over last year's price. I believe it was like $75 for the bottle that I paid $50 for the last time. I couldn't bring myself to buy it since I only budgeted $60 for perfume this time (after blowing $130 last time buying both Laila and Burberry). So this time I bought some perfume in the France section, I can't recall the name right now but it has a very similar scent to Laila (I still prefer Laila) and it came with a full size bottle, a sample size and lotion all for $60.

I'm thinking I might do some searching though and see if I can pick up some Laila for around $60 somewhere.

We love both Laila and Geir. The past two Dec. Geir Ness as been available to sign bottles of the fragrances. While we were talking he mentioned that the fragrance would be in the presenter goodie bags at the grammy awards. Of course I had to get the whole same set up. He's a good salesman. Love the hand Massage. Anyhoo, we have gotten fragrances from Norway for years and we just love them. Also, try Italy (Prada & Bulgari) lots I don't see in Dept. stores and France(too many to name).

Yes he is a good salesman... Did you get the set with the reversable purse too? I actually used the purse for a long while (not the purple velvet side)..
The large bottle lasted me almost a year and the small bottle actually lasted me longer! I still have some of the lotion left and it is wonderful too!
Love the perfumes in Italy too!

For the person who asked about price... I got a large bottle, a small purse bottle w/bag, a large bottle of lotion and a free reversable leather purse for $92.00. If you prefer the perfume alone the large bottle is $73 and the small one is $53 or he has a new pink bottle with the breast cancer Awareness ribbon that is the same fragrance but is being sold for $95, 10% will go towards "For the Cure foundation".
These prices may seem high but you will only be sorry if you dont get it!!
I started wearing this about 3 years ago and there were trips I went on that I just couldnt bring myself to spend the money then when I got home I was so upset that I didnt... I will never go on another trip to Disney without picking me up a bottle again.. My dh says I'm worth it!

I LOVE it as well!! My mom and I met Geir Ness when we were there last time! He gave us hand massages with the Laila hand cream. He was very nice and we ended up buying more than we expected.

I also adore the smell. It is very hard to resist when you walk through the store. I have also gotten numerous compliments whenever I wear it. For the summer I love the bronzer, but like the perfume it is a little high at $33, but it's fabulous. I also put the bronzer on if I am getting really dressed up, as I love the shimmer. The cream is very nice also.

Geir also smells wonderful and we are going to have to pick some up in December as my DH is out of it at the moment.

I, too, love the gift sets but did not see any the last two times we were there. One time I got a black purse with a bright blue interior, but it was not my style, so I just gave it to charity. However, you got three products in it and it was worth the price. I think it is a much better deal if you can get a combo.

They replaced the small purse bottle with the atomizer so I think it should be available at the store in Disney. But if I remember right you couldnt buy the smaller bottle by itself when I was last there (it had to be bought in the package). They may have changed this by now! The The Lillehammer Purse Set is the one I got only the purse wasnt the same at the time... I wouldnt normally carry animal print but if they have that set available at the park in October then that is what I will be getting again...

I've been wearing this for about 8 years. One of my coworkers describes it as "fruit salad". I only order online. The purse sets are much nicer than what you get at Epcot. I just got the goldish/pink one last week as a surprise from DH. The surprise bonus gift is the shimmer powder.

I am not a big perfume wearer-they usually make me a little sick to my stomach. One trip to WS I got a whiff of Laila and thought it smelled really nice. We went on to the other countries but I did go back before we left and bought a bottle. I'm glad I did-everytime I smell it I think of WDW.

I was just looking at the gold/pink set thinking I might get it.

The bag is really cute. Get it, you won't be disappointed. Normally the bags just get shoved into the closet, but I use this one. I also got the set with the lip stains and lip tingle. The tingle is nice, but the stains dry my lips horribly. DH didn't know which set I'd like better, so he bought both. He's definitely a keeper.

Really? Every site I have looked at is pretty much the same cost... I did see one site that was about $2-3 less but not enough to make me order from them.. I think its becoming more of a tradition and a special treat for me in Epcot that I look forward to!

I'm glad to hear so many other people love it too.. At least that gives me confidence that it wont be discontinued... Unfortunately every other scent I have ever fell in love with is no longer around.... Before I found this perfume I wore Imagine happiness from bath and body works but it is gone.... Its ok though because I love this even more!!

I love the smell of this. I finally got it in July my DH bought it for me for my BDAY while we were in Disney. I haven't told my DD14 yet, she has been dying for me to buy it for her. I haven't used it yet. I am saving it for when we move in our new house in Sept. I don't know why, but I felt like it will be nice to open when we have our own place again.

I LOVE Laila. I've been wearing it for 6 years now. I was always intrigued by the smell because it hits so hard when you walk in the door without being too much. The first time I noticed it, I was talking to my mom about it, and had decided that even though I really liked it, that it was too much to have her buy me a $50 bottle of perfume. We left the store and continued on around World Showcase. However, a few countries later, I broke down and went back and got it. I've been hooked ever since.
