Lagoon View Concierge - Here We Come!

My DU agent has come through yet again! She was able to get me a AAA rate on a LVC room at the Polynesian for July 2007! We had a AAA GVC booked, but after being in my LV room at the GF without a castle view, I knew I wanted to upgrade our Polynesian concierge view. I have asked her to request, in this order:

1. Unobstructed view of the castle
2. 3rd floor
3. Non smoking

I am just SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!

P.S. I'm glad you put "non-smoking" as your last request because all of the smoking-optional rooms are up on the third floor, and even if you do end up in one of those rooms, at least you're on the third floor, AND, we've never smelled smoke in any of those rooms that we've stayed in. Since my DH smokes on occasion, we always request a smoking-optional room and I like the fact that it almost guarantees us a third floor room there.

Do most of the third floor LV rooms unobstructed castle views? I did notice a bunch of palm trees in front of Hawaii last week when we were in WDW, but it really was hard to tell if they were obstructing the view. My DH commented that all of Hawaii looks like it has amazing castle/lagoon views. We usually like a first floor room at the Polynesian, but I'm just not willing to chance having our patio blocked by foliage.
