I am really enjoying her interview... nice to see past all of her flamboyant clothing and get a glimpse of her personality!!

I'm so happy I saw her. She made me cry when she spoke of being bullied in high school. I don't know much about her music, but after seeing her on The View I really want to listen!

What a classy young woman! :thumbsup2

I saw her last number on SNL on Saturday (Born This Way) and it was ... um ... interesting :lmao:. She came out with the rest of the SNL regulars/guests/crew/etc and I noticed how TINY she was. I had no idea. I'll wait for the View segment to go online and I'll check it out.

I like her music but I can't imagine calling anyone who wears ***** shoes classy. :lmao:

I will have to watch the interview online. Maybe her flamboyant persona is just part of her act?

She spoke of coming from a very traditional Italian Catholic family and how she prays before every show. Her aunt died at the age of 19 and she prays to her before every performance and feels like she is living the life she never got to have.

I hope you see the interview, the person inside all those costumes is a very deep, talented, spiritual person.

She's very smart too. She went to a prestigeous music/theater school in NY and she also writes her own material...I'm pretty sure she does the melodies as well...not just the lyrics.

Not just her material either, she has written music for the likes of Brittney Spears and Pussycat Dolls.

I loved seeing her Mom in the audience, you can tell they are such a close family. :thumbsup2

Sounds really cool. I will definitely watch the interview when it comes online!

I enjoyed the interview and was surprised how well versed and spiritual she is. IMO, she certainly gives a different impression on stage with her provocative clothes, makeup, music and dance. Like they say, altho you can't judge a book by it's cover, it still pains me to see the young girls looking up to her style for all the wrong reasons :guilty:.

If she's so talented, why the strange outfits? She was so inappropriate when she was on American Idol, coaching young Scotty. I probably won't watch the View segment. I have zero interest in her. Her strangeness just bothers me. Her singing voice is OK. It's great that she writes music. Never listened to her lyrics closely, as I assume they're strange & inappropriate, too.

I'm not sure I know too many who can wear the Lobster heel as well as she does. Also what is up with the word classy always being used. I don't think of Lady Gaga as "classy" i find the word "classy" to be over used and more importantly incorrectly used a lot around here.

Lady Gaga is a force, a Icon, a movement. Why would people not think she is intelligent? I find it funny that so many are "shocked". I almost lost it when she mind-played with Scotty from American Idol.

Agree totally!:thumbsup2
She loves her fans more than herself. Its nice to see that.

In *my* book someone who stands up for other people, and does it in a non-violent way, has CLASS.

I enjoyed her on The View today and have never seen her do any other
interview so it was very interesting. BTW, her new album is on Amazon for 99 cents today only...go grab it....download may be slow, due to high demand.

and under all the makeup, costumes, and craziness..she really seems to be a down to earth young woman who has what it takes to succeed and seems to know what she wants and how to gets it..was surprised to see her Mother in the audience and see how much they really look alike!

When she was playing bars & clubs as Stephanie Germotta, no one gave her the time of day, that's why. Although I think she's super talented, I am not a fan of hers.

I am not qualified to comment on her "talent" but her marketing skills are without parallel. I did not think that she did a great job attempting to coach Scotty on AI, but at least she didn't cost him the final two position.

Without doubt she is "strange" but I believe that is part of her marketing approach. How many people know that her name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta ?

But, under the stage name, Gaga has been included in Time magazine's annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world as well as being listed in a number of Forbes' annual lists, including the 100 most powerful and influential celebrities in the world and accrued the number one spot on their annual list of the 100 most powerful celebrities.

I am only seeing 12.99? I am really amazon/Itunes challenged. Could you provide link if you don't mind?

I think Gaga is very talented but I wish she would just sing instead of using all that backround crap and 1/2 naked dancers. I don't think its necessary if you have the talent.

Now...Brittany Spears is another story......

MARKETING.

BTW I have zero interest in people are are NOT strange  Like scotty... :scared:

There's something for EVERYONE! :thumbsup2
