Random thought here but was watching VH1 early this morning and Poker Face by Lady GaGa came on. They censored (bleeped out) the word "gun" and "muffin" from the song (but kept gluegun) - if you know the song you will know where these bleeped out words come in. Thought it was a bit odd.

I haven't heard that commercial
I did the same type of thing. I clearly recall getting Purple Rain for Christmas in 6th grade (dating myself I know
). I listened to the cassette over and over during Christmas break, but was skipping (okay, fast forwarding through--we couldn't just skip back in the dark ages)the couple of song on it I didn't like within a day. Then school started back up again and it turned out I was the only kid in town whose parents had not erased Darling Nikki. So, of course, I just had to listen to it again and figure out what all the hoopla was about (I think I still know all the lyrics to this day
). If no one had pointed it out I would have been blissfully unaware
