I used paint shop pro. To create my back ground I selected new and it asked me what size I wanted so I entered 500 wide and 300 high. I put in my back ground which I got off the internet. To add the pictures I would bring up a screen shot. Select image from the tool bar then resize. Then I would copy the section of the screen shot that I wanted to add to my back ground, by using the selection tool (paintshop pro allows you to change the shape of the tool, circles and such) then selecting copy, click on the back ground and paste it in as new selection. If it turned out too big I would undo and then go back to my screen shot and make it smaller. Most of the screen shots I resized to 200 wide. Make sure when you resize that you check the box that says maintain aspect ratio. If you do not check this box your picture might turn out stretched. I hope this helps you. Good Luck!

I dont have Paint Shop Pro so I saved my screen shots in regular paint as jpegs. then i reopened them with microsoft photo editor and cropped and resized.

Hey Rose,
If you don't have a paint program you can print out your screen shots and make a paper layout and then scan it in. Let me know if you need any other help. You can download a free trial of Paint Shop pro. I think it is a 90 day trial and at the end of the trail it will no longer work because they want you to purcahse it. Just an idea if you are only needing it for a project such as this.

how do u do the snapshots?

on your keyboard there should be a print screen button (upper right, next to F12). I like to have my paint program open first, press the print screen button then open paint, select paste and the image should appear. Save the image as a jpeg file and once you have saved it you can take another picture and so on. I usally edit the pictures after vmk has closed but save them as I go along so I don't lose any if my computer acts wacky. Hope this helps.

Cute idea but I am a real life scrapper, in fact that is what I do for a living. I teach scrapbook classes nationally and sell supplies.

But you gave me a great idea for a layout. I had not thought to do one about VMK.
